Music Ensembles for your Special Event
Erin and her ensembles are available to perform for your wedding or special event in a variety of formats.
Below, find descriptions of the variety of ensembles and musical styles available for your event. Click the button to the right to hear musical examples.
String Quartet, Trio, or Duo
String ensembles provide a lovely atmosphere as ceremony music, cocktail music, or dinner music. Erin's ensembles play classical music as well as popular, ragtime, and fiddle music. Erin can organize a duo, trio, or quartet to suit your needs:
Quartet: 2 violins, viola, and cello
Trio: violin, viola, and cello; or 2 violins and cello
Duo: violin and cello; or violin and viola; or violin and guitar
Hammered Dulcimer
Erin performs on hammered dulcimer either solo or with her longtime friend and teacher, Bill Stine. They perform arrangements of Irish, Scottish, English, classical, and American folk tunes with some surprises thrown in.
Piano or Organ
Erin can provide piano or keyboard music for your wedding or cocktail hour. Piano can also be added when booking a string ensemble if you desire piano accompaniment for hymns or processional pieces for your wedding.
Erin can also book an organist upon request.
Jazz Band
Looking for different types of music for each part of your event? Book a jazz band for your cocktail hour, dinner, or reception. Erin's husband is a professional jazz bass player, and his ensembles are available in any format for your special event. Both instumental groups and groups with a vocalist are available.
